Global Olympic Sites The Olympic Information Center
is part of the Amateur Athletic Foundation which houses one of the world's largest collections of materials pertaining to the Olympic Games. The site provides
access to Official Reports (in adobe acrobat); early Winter games photographs; details on books
about the Olympics; information on art and sport; an Olympic Primer; facts about future Olympic

The official site of the Olympic Movement appears in both French and English. Pages on the
Olympic family (the International Olympic Committee, IOC; National Olympic Committees, NOC;
International Sports Federations, IF and the Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games,
OCOG); the past games (since 1924); an Olympic Museum; future games (2000 - 2004); a
retrospective (on Nagano and Atlanta) and Olympic partners (official sponsors) are included. The
site has a searchable index and site map to aid navigation, but requires Java to be enabled on your browser. It can also be slow to download, but is worth the wait. http://www.olympic.org/ The Olympic Studies Centre manages the International Chair in Olympism which was created
in 1995 by agreement between Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and the International
Olympic Committee. The website reflects the objectives of the chair, which are "to promote
research, education and the dissemination of the Olympic Movement's ideals at university level". A
directory of international research, the proceedings of the 1998 Olympia Internet Seminar and

Olympic Committees, by Country The International Olympic Committee website contains information on National Olympic Committees
from around the world, which can be selected from a searchable graphic of the globe. Many National Olympic Committee pages include details about the country's Olympic team; the
structure and organization of that Olympic Committee; contact details and information about
