Education Subcommittee Re-Scoping meeting

Joan Degiorgio has set up a meeting to re-energize the JRNAF Education Subcommittee. There are already great and important education goals established through the Strategic Plan, such as:

● Raising the awareness of local government and civic groups of the natural values of the Jordan River;

● Educating river golf course owners about their strategic location for wildlife and what they can do to improve habitat;

● Helping to develop new environmental education interpretive sites along the river; and,

● Promoting educational field trips.

What we would like to accomplish at the meeting includes: revisiting the goals, deciding what to work on for 2004, and selecting a chairperson and members to go forward.
