VISTA On-line Help Page and Tutorials TEST

Welcome to the Voter Information and State Tracking Application (VISTA) help and tutorial page. The purpose of this site is to improve your understanding and memory of the many processes and features found in VISTA.

To make the site as simple as possible, the navigation bar at the top of the page is laid out in the same manner as the navigation in VISTA. This will help you to remember where features and processes are found. For instance, if you were to select the voters button above, you would see the same options, features and processes that you would see in VISTA.

In short, VISTA consists of two databases; a live database and a test database. You can switch/toggle between the two by selecting the "Live" button. Selecting the "Test" button will bring you back to the live. If you are unfamiliar with VISTA or any of its processes, it's a good idea to spend some time in the test database. The changes that you make do not have an impact on your live information, so you can learn without having to worry about making mistakes and compromising the integrity of your information.

Using F1 to Access Help Pages: When working in VISTA you can access a help page by simply selecting the F1 button on your keyboard. This will take you to a help page for that specific form. Once there, you will also have the ability to access every other help page in VISTA.
