Governor Herbert to Host Immigration Roundtable Discussion

WHAT: Governor Herbert will facilitate a roundtable discussion with various stakeholders to explore immigration reform that best serves Utah’s interests. Approximately 30 people have been invited to participate in the discussion, including lawmakers, members of the faith-based community, minority groups, law enforcement, business leaders and others to discuss options for the state. Limited public seating will be available, and a staging area will be available for the press. All audience members are encouraged to be in their seats by 9:45 a.m.
WHEN: Tuesday, July 20, 2010 10 a.m.-noon
WHERE: Room 210, Utah Senate Building Utah State Capitol
Public parking is available on the east side of the Capitol Complex, accessible from East Capitol Boulevard.
