Western Governors Gather in Utah for Annual Meeting

What: The Western Governors’ Association Annual Meeting will convene this weekend with governors from the west gathering to discuss important and timely issues affecting the region. Roundtable discussion will focus on the following:
o Public Lands
o Endangered Species
In addition, key guests from Washington, D.C., and the private sector will address the governors and participate in discussions regarding these issues.
Why: Once a year, members of the Western Governors’ Association meet to discuss strategies and long-term solutions for the issues facing the West region.
Who: Governors from Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, Montana, Colorado, American Samoa, and Premiers from western areas of Canada
