Utah, a premier destination for business

Utah is the place for business, both big and small. Utah has emerged as the top state for business friendliness in the Thumbtack.com Small Business Friendliness Survey. In the Enterprising States report of 2014, Utah earned the most top 10 and top 25 rankings in the 33 categories measured in the study.

“Here in Utah, businesses can grow and thrive in a friendly environment and a good, strong economy,” said Gov. Gary R. Herbert. “We work closely with the business community to make sure the state is a partner in their success. This mutual and beneficial partnership is one of the many reasons why Utah is being recognized across the nation for its great business environment.”

Recently, The Governor’s Office visited Kaddas Enterprises in Salt Lake City.  The enterprise has been in the thermoforming plastics business since 1966. This June, Kaddas announced it has received a sales accreditation from “Comisión Federal de Electricidad” (CFE), the exclusive provider of electricity in Mexico. This accreditation will allow Kaddas to expand their international business to the entire country of Mexico as a pre-approved supplier.

Kaddas is just one of the many businesses who has benefited from the efforts the Governor has made to make Utah the friendless and best state for businesses.
