The more people know about the governor’s Healthy Utah alternative to Medicaid expansion, the more they support it.
That’s according to a Dan Jones & Associates, Zions Bank and Utah Policy poll released today. A total of 67 percent of those polled support the Healthy Utah plan, with 22 percent saying they strongly support it.

Last week, the governor traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with Sec. Sylvia Burwell of the Department of Health and Human Services. The two came to a conceptual agreement to help Utahns who would receive Healthy Utah benefits connect with job training and job search services. The state already provides these services through the Dept. of Workforce Services.
