Governor orders flags lowered to honor former Salt Lake City Mayor Deedee Corradini

SALT LAKE CITY (March 5, 2015) — Gov. Gary R. Herbert has authorized the lowering of the flags of the United States of America and the State of Utah in honor of former Salt Lake City mayor, Deedee Corradini. The former mayor will be laid to rest on Mon., March 9, 2015.

“Deedee Corradini served admirably as mayor of Salt Lake City,†said Gov. Gary R. Herbert. “She played an important role in preparing our capital city to host the 2002 Olympic Winter Games and leaves a legacy of investing in our transportation infrastructure that continues to benefit Utahns to this day.”

The flags will be flown at half-staff at all state facilities from sunrise to sunset on March 9, 2015 only.
