“There is no better place to experience the outdoors than Utah,” said Gov. Herbert. “Tourists come from all over the world to see iconic destinations found in our own backyard. Now that most kids are getting out of school, I hope families will have some time to enjoy Utah’s beautiful outdoors.”

Locals and tourists alike enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities against the background of the state’s five national parks, world-class ski resorts, and stunning canyons and mountain ranges. In fact, Utah boasts a $12 billion annual outdoor recreation industry.

Whether you like hiking, cycling, camping, stand-up paddleboarding, off-road driving or geocaching, Utah has a place for you to experience the great outdoors this summer.
