Governor to kick off Military Appreciation Month with bill signing

Gov. Gary R. Herbert will sign three military bills to benefit current servicemembers and veterans during a kickoff ceremony for National Military Appreciation Month. HB 98 provides death benefits for the families of Utah National Guard members who die in the line of duty, HB 135 grants free admission to state parks for disabled veterans, and SB 35 creates a special license plate indicating the campaign or theater in which a veteran served.
