Adam Stewart is Director of Federal Affairs for Utah Governor Spencer Cox, where he oversees all day-to-day federal operations, all federal correspondence, coordination with Utah's congressional delegation and federal partners, and supporting state agencies in their federal efforts.
Prior to this role, Adam served as Legislative Director to United States Senator Cynthia Lummis, where he oversaw legislative strategy and managed a team of 14 to advance the Senator's policy priorities. Adam started his roughly twelve-year career in Washington D.C. working for Congressman Rob Bishop, beginning as an intern and ending his time as the Congressman's chief of staff. Adam previously worked as Staff Director of the Senate Committee on the Environment and Public Works Subcommittee on Fisheries, Water, and Wildlife, Executive Director of the Senate Western Caucus, and Senior Policy Advisor on the House Natural Resources Committee. Adam enjoys tennis, reading, travel, and time with his family at the ranch.
