Governor’s Mansion to undergo renovations
SALT LAKE CITY (April 16, 2021) — Scaffolding will be erected outside the Governor’s Mansion on Monday for some much needed repairs and upgrades. According to Mansion Manager Lynda Horne, windows throughout the 17,000-square-foot mansion will be repaired and the roof will be replaced. Gov. Cox lowers flags in honor of victims of Indianapolis, Indiana shooting
SALT LAKE CITY (April 16, 2021) — Utah Gov. Spencer J. Cox has authorized the lowering of the flag of the United States of America and the flag of the state of Utah on all state facilities in accordance with President Joe Biden’s proclamation honoring the victims of the acts of violence perpetrated on April 15, 2021, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

New health order eliminates 90-day wait time for a COVID-19 shot
SALT LAKE CITY (April 15, 2021) — Those who have had COVID-19 no longer need to wait 90 days before being vaccinated, according to a health order signed by Gov. Spencer Cox. The Utah Department of Health guidance recommends individuals should be fully recovered from the coronavirus before getting the vaccine, but the new order eliminates the 90-day waiting period.
