Neil Abercrombie has served in Utah Governor Spencer Cox’s office as a senior advisor of legislative affairs and policy since January 2022. Prior to his appointment, Abercrombie’s career spanned serving as vice president of government relations for Utah State University, as public finance and policy analyst for the Utah League of Cities and Towns, and as an adjunct professor at the University of Utah. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science from Utah State University, as well as studies from the University of Utah in public administration.
