Gordon Larsen is Senior Advisor for Federal Affairs, and will continue playing an active role in Utah’s COVID-19 response. Since 2017, Larsen has served as the Director of Federal Affairs for the Herbert administration and as the Director of Policy since 2019, managing Utah’s interests before Congress, the White House, and federal agencies. Prior to working for Gov. Herbert, Larsen was a Congressional staffer in the U.S. House of Representatives and then Legislative Counsel for Congressional Affairs at the U.S. Agency for Global Media.
A native of Kearns, Utah, Larsen attended Brigham Young University for undergraduate studies and holds JD and MBA degrees from the College of William and Mary. He and his wife have four children and live in Farmington.
