Workforce Services opens 30 permanent jobs in rural Utah

SALT LAKE CITY (March  3, 2021) — Today the Department of Workforce Services announced 30 new permanent jobs for workers in rural communities. Governor’s Office and Legislature release updated budget estimates

SALT LAKE CITY (Feb. 19, 2021) — The Governor’s Office, Utah State Senate and House of Representatives released updated revenue numbers for state fiscal years 2021 and 2022. Gov. Spencer Cox applauds Utah’s 3.6% unemployment rate

SALT LAKE CITY (Jan. 22, 2021) – Utah’s unemployment rate hit 3.6% in December, dropping below 4% for the first time since March 2020, according to data released Friday by the U.S. Department of Labor.  Nearly 8,000 people entered the labor force in December, a signal of greater optimism among job seekers and more workers available to meet employer demand.
